Community Survey Receives 531 Responses
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Eastmont Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan Community Survey. We received 531 survey responses, providing valuable input about the parks, facilities, programs, and recreation opportunities our community values today—and what should be prioritized for the future.
The survey is now closed, and your feedback will help inform the development of the draft Comprehensive Plan.
What’s next?
This fall, the draft plan will be shared with the community for review and comment before it is finalized.
What We Heard
The Community Values Eastmont Parks & Recreation
Survey responses show strong overall satisfaction with Eastmont’s parks and recreation system. Nearly 90% of respondents rated the condition and maintenance of parks and facilities as good or excellent, and a similar percentage said parks and recreation opportunities are easy to access.
Taking Care of What We Have Is a Priority
The community placed a strong emphasis on maintaining and improving existing parks and facilities. The Eastmont Aquatic Center stood out as a particularly important community asset and a priority for continued investment.
Trails, Amenities & Recreation Opportunities Matter
Respondents also emphasized trails and everyday park amenities—including restrooms, shade, picnic areas, and walking paths—as well as recreation opportunities that serve people of all ages.
